Information on Long Term Recovery Plans: Rutland Area

The Rutland County Long Term Recovery Committee (RCLTRC) was established to assist these victims with our mission to create, strengthen, expand and coordinate disaster recovery efforts as needed through out theRutlandCounty. Currently RCLTRC is gathering victim information; assessing individual and community needs; obtaining and distributing financial and other resources; conducting disaster case management; assisting and expediting storm victims’ access to services, and collaborating with agencies and local businesses to resolve the full spectrum of disaster caused recovery needs.

The RCLTRC is asking for financial donations, building supplies, volunteer services, or community members skilled in building and restoring homes as there is a huge amount of work that is and will continue being done to repair the damage caused by Irene. The RCLTRC hopes you will take this opportunity to help support our efforts, as your generous donation will do so much to aid the community members in the RutlandCounty. Financial donations can be made to Rutland Long-Term Recovery Committee, c/o BROC, 60 Center Street, Rutland, VT05701. To donate materials or services you can contact AmeriCorps VISTA Aaron Ashton at 802-786-0069 or at  Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
