Storage Needed: Waterbury

STORAGE SPACE needed for Hunger Mt. Children’s Center.  The childcare/preschool at 123 S. Main St. Waterbury is in temporary space since the flood. It now needs to
empty its former home in the state office complex and it does not have space in the temp.location. Imagine emptying a 2000+ square-foot home filled with toys, books, furniture, etc. to keep 40 kids busy every day.

Storage units – or get creative – how about a vacant garage at a home that’s for sale but off the market maybe? Or a combination of spaces could work. Affordable fees or a donation would be greatly appreciated. Would like to have the space through the winter – until May 1 would be idea.

Location within 30 min.-1 hour from Waterbury would be best. Chittenden County OK. Stowe/Morrisville/Montpelier/Mad River Valley.
HMCC is Waterbury’s oldest licensed child care center, in operation since the early 1970s. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit. It is licensed to care for up to 40 children ages 6 weeks-preschool daily. It is part of the local universal preschool program with the public schools. Contact the center’s director, Kristen Nugent:
