Are you only helping flood victims? I am raising my two grandchildren and there is enough stress and time put on my shoulders. I now have my mortgage company calling and harassing my boyfriend, who I share the note with, accusing us of not paying our monthly mortgage. This would be a easy case to help me with because I have all canceled checks from our bank. I saved all certified letters, names , and dates of who I faxed all canceled checks to show them that we have been making our payments, but they are still calling and sending certified letters. I have contacted several people with in the bank and I get now where. We do struggle, like everyone in this horrible economy but we make our mortgage payments ON TIME. The harassment, STRESS, reports to our credit and time I have spent on providing documentation is driving me crazy. I do not know what else to do but get a lawyer. I hope someone help.
    Thank you

This site is intended to help spread information related to those affected by Irene. However, Vermont Legal Aid is an organization that exists to provide legal help to people across Vermont. You can try calling 1-800-889-2047 to see what assistance they can help you with.

Please, If interested reply soon..because VT Legal Aid will not take our case untill we receive a foreclosure court statement. This means there will be no relief from harassment at work, Stress in our home, and constant reports towards our credit.

    Thank you
