Big Help Opportunity: Plymouth 9/24

Jay Kullman of Farm and Wilderness Camp is organizing a big help event this Saturday in Plymouth. As you know from our site, the town of Plymouth is one of the hardest hit in the state. Jay has been helping to organize volunteers, and this weekend we want to get a big push and get a ton done.

Meet Jay and his crew at the Plymouth Elementary school, right on Rte 100, at 9am. You can reach the school by taking Route 4 from the north, and Route 103 from the Rutland area. We are looking for about 50 volunteers to help out.

Volunteers should bring gloves and long sleeves, boots, their own water and lunches, and their best Vermont self. Tasks will include:

  • Blackey’s Deli
  • General debris clean up for three homes
  • Yard clean up in several locations
