Help Needed (9/25): South Royalton

Looking for 20 – 25 volunteers to help Royalton’s own Sue Cain. If you’ve ever been blessed with Sue’s amazing blueberries, you will understand how important it is for us to help her save her beloved, well-tended berry patch. Up to 18 inches of heavy mud/silt is threatening to kill all her bushes.

If you can spare a few hours on Sunday morning, September 25th, from 9AM until noon, Sue and her friends and neighbors would be forever grateful. We are currently arranging parking and hopefully lunch for all volunteers.

More details will follow in the coming days, but we know that shovels, garden rakes, and hoes will be needed. And, of course, the requisite boots and work gloves.

Please email Sharon O’Connor or 802-299-8666 (cell) or 802-763-7446 (home) with a commitment or questions. Thank you.
