Please help make a miracle happen. Some of you may know that Mel and Demaris, of Mel’s Gourmet International Cuisine/Tastes of Africa lost their brand new kitchen space and much of their equipment in the flood. They were due to go to work filling a number of brand new large contracts, literally, on Monday morning. Being the people that they are, they have not let this stop them and are determined to fulfill their commitments. It looks like they have a new space secured (undamaged!) and are ready to go to work renovating and making it ready to cook as soon as they sign the lease, which will happen tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 7). They are hoping to get volunteers in starting tomorrow afternoon, to help rip out carpet, paint, etc. Soon they will need more skilled carpentry help, etc. If you would like to help make this small miracle happen, please contact Nancy at COVER Home Repair: firstname.lastname@example.org, or at email@example.com, or at 802-299-7068.
