Help Needed: Vergennes

In Vergennes, the Vergennes Lions Club is accepting donations 8am – 6pm in the Aubuchon parking lot (Rte. 7 & Monkton Rd). If the trailer is not open, items can also be dropped off at Long Trail Physical Therapy at 300 Main St.

Non-perishable food (which can be eaten w/o preparation) such as PB&J, tuna, spam, baked beans, bottled water, and gatorade

Childcare Items: Diapers size 4/5/6, diaper wipes, baby food

Personal hygiene items: Feminine products, soap, disposable razors, shaving cream, shampoo, nail clippers, hair brushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc.

Other items:

Flashlights/batteries
Aspirin/Advil/Tylenol
First Aid Kits
Blankets & Sheets
Cleaning products & supplies
Paper products: towels, TP, plates, cups, etc.
Dog/Cat food

    Does anyone know who is taking furniture and clothes?

    I have a truck load of both I will be taking to the Salvation army or Refugee center in Essex if I can’t find a flood relief distribution center. Thank you. jackie
