WILMINGTON NEWS… per Wilmington Police Chief (Joe S) – starting tomorrow Sun 9/4 – passes are being reinstated for the downtown area. No one will be allowed in the affected areas without a pass. The only people that will be allocated passes will be business owners and volunteers. No general pedestrian traffic will be allowed in this area – JUST folks with passes. There are also no children allowed in the downtown area. Volunteers in the downtown restricted area must have appropriate footwear and clothing, and must wear masks and gloves. Volunteers under 18 or not physical able to work in the downtown area can still help in other places (like Twice Blessed) – see the volunteer coordinator at the table at Twin Valley High School. Thanks.
