Places to Donate: Vergennes

An additional drop-off location has been established in the Aubuchon Hardware parking lot at the corner of Rt7 and Monkton Rd in Ferrisburgh, just outside of Vergennes.  The Vergennes Lions Club is coordinating the effort and Paquette Storage from Middlebury has donated a trailer and trucking services.  This location will be open for donations throughout the Labor Day Weekend and possibly the rest of the week or until the trailer is full.

Are there particular items needed for the Vergennes drop off? I will come tomorrow. I keep hearing how it’s better to give money to the food shelves because they can make it go further. But I’m wondering if actual food is getting there fast enough?

  2. No clothes at this time…
