Information for Farmers

The State of Vermont and Department of Agriculture has released a document urging farmers to begin to prepare for the possible effects of Hurricane Sandy. Major takeaways include planning for moving livestock, hay and feed to higher ground, acquiring sufficient fuel for generators and equipment and stockpiling enough water for livestock.
